Food Distribution
In March of 2023, the Durham Community Action Group held a mass food distribution at Southside Worship Centre in Ajax that helped feed over 1,000 people. Many local government officials such as Patrice Barnes, Deidre Newman, and Nancy Henry came out to support us by delivering packages of food to the nearby apartment buildings.
We are thankful to all the volunteers and donators who have helped support our work combatting food insecurity in Durham!
